RemarksDown you can see Coryton Refinery which is an oil refinery in Essex, England, situated on the estuary of the River Thames some 28 miles (45.1 km) from the centre of London.Up you see the Canvey Island (area 18.45 kmē; pop. 37,479[1])which is a civil parish and reclaimed island in the Thames estuary separated from the mainland of south Essex by a network of creeks. Lying below sea level it is prone to flooding at exceptional tides, but has nevertheless been inhabited since the Roman invasion of Britain
