When the QF 743's were delivered in 1985 they were the pride of the fleet, flying to Europe and North America. With the delivery of the 747-400 and A330's the 743's were used for domestic flights to Perth from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne also they were used to fill in for any 744 that had problems of maintinence. Then in 2008 the un thinck able! QF placed the 743 back into longhaul service on MEL-AKL-LAX services for nearly 10 months before they were retired from services, atleast they went out with pride! | | Views | 591 |
