RemarksFirst flown in 1983, this was sadly written off at Kabul. It was carrying humanitarian aid to Afghanistan when it skidded off the runway while trying to land with very bad weather conditions. A subsequent fire erupted in the forward fuselage and was w/o as BER on 05/08/2008. It is seen here landing on RWY25 during a very hot summer day.
