RemarksNot sure of exact date but it was on the way home post Fairford. Appropriately registered 109, was coming to the end of her brief time on the display circuit, which ended a few months later following a landing accident. Built in 1942, she was cpatured by the Allies near Tobruk and shipped to the UK for evaluation and allocated UK serial RN228. Restoration began in 1973 , completing in 1991, with authorisation given for 5 years flying in displays. Now at RAFM Hendon.
